Information We Collect
When you use our calculators and submit a lead form, we may collect:
- Personal identifiers: First name, last name, email address, phone number.
- Financial data: Income, monthly expenses, savings, mortgage balance, and existing coverage amounts as entered into our calculators.
- Health-related data: Age, biological sex, smoking status, exercise habits, BMI estimates, and chronic condition indicators as entered into our calculators.
- Location data: ZIP code, used to provide regional cost-of-living and insurance statistics.
- Marketing data: UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) to understand how you found us.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate your personalized educational report.
- To send up to 3 follow-up emails related to your report results.
- To contact you by phone if you provided a phone number and selected a callback time.
- To improve the accuracy and relevance of our calculators.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate VeraLife:
- Supabase — Database hosting and storage for lead data. Data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery for sending your reports and follow-up emails.
- Groq — AI inference provider used to generate personalized educational content in your report. Your calculator inputs (not your name or contact info) are sent to Groq to generate narrative content.
- Vercel — Website hosting and serverless function execution. Vercel Analytics collects anonymous page-view data.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure database connections, and environment-variable-based secrets management. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

Cookies and Tracking
VeraLife uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page-view data without using cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. UTM parameters are read from the URL on your first visit and stored with your lead record if you submit a form.
Children's Privacy
VeraLife is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure
Portions of your personalized report are generated using artificial intelligence (Groq / LLaMA). This content is educational in nature and is not professional financial, insurance, or medical advice. AI-generated sections are clearly labeled in your report. The AI does not receive your name, email, or phone number — only your anonymized calculator inputs.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
